The Brave browser is based on Chrome and shares many great similarities with it. Where it differs, however, is how it respects your privacy, and how it allows you to pay the websites that you enjoy visiting. By default the browser blocks trackers and ads and instead it offers you the choice of viewing ads in non-intrusive places. If you do choose to see ads in the browser, you can then select exactly what websites get that money, or what creators get that money, putting the power back into your hands over how you reward the content you see.
